One real family · working guide

Pluber for Mimi.

A short read for Jo and Annie — so you can help Mimi feel safe calling for a ride herself.

This is our family’s example Names and roles below are real for Mimi’s household. The same product works for college roommates, tight-knit neighbors, or any closed group — one admin shares personal links; members never need accounts. How any group gets started →
Mimi Requester — asks for rides & list help
Annie, Michael, Cody Helpers — share the open list & claim rides
Jo Helper when her link is on — same shared list

Uber is for strangers and credit cards. Mimi needs something quieter: tap one big button, talk like a normal person, and her people show up.

Your job isn’t to run the app for her forever. It’s to help her trust that she can do this — and that someone she loves will answer.

What she does (that’s the whole product)

  1. Opens her personal link (bookmark or Home Screen — no password, no account).
  2. Taps the big red “Call Eve” button once. Eve is a patient voice helper. She answers first.
  3. Says where and when — grocery, doctor, club, ride home or just drop-off. Eve asks one thing at a time.
  4. Her people get a text and see the request. Someone accepts. She can check “My rides” and hear the details spoken aloud.

What to tell her (use these lines)

Try: “Mimi, when you need a ride, just open your Pluber page and press the red button. Eve will help you ask. One of us will come.”

How you fit in right now

Helpers today: Annie, Michael, and Cody have helper links. When Mimi sends a request, everyone with a phone on file gets a text. You all see the same open list and accept the ones you can or want — first yes wins. Mimi sees who is coming (by name).

Jo: Same pattern when her link is live — phone for texts optional; she gets her own helper link on the shared list.

Your best help for Mimi: Sit with her once or twice while she presses Call Eve. Cheer when it shows Requested. That’s the win — not ordering rides for her forever.
